Royce is the founding partner of RBLegal. Prior to establishing the Firm, he worked in some of the country's most prominent law firms where he developed a practice centred around complex, high-stakes litigation and arbitration.

He is instructed by individuals, local and international businesses, multinational corporations and publicly listed companies in disputes involving substantial financial exposure, complex contractual arrangements and cross-border interests. His practice spans a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including corporate and commercial disputes, construction and engineering matters, shipping and maritime claims, fraud, asset recovery and regulatory matters. He welcomes instructions beyond these practice areas.

He regularly appears as lead counsel or co-counsel to senior practitioners before all levels of the Malaysian Courts. He also represents clients in domestic and international arbitrations conducted under various institutional rules, including UNCITRAL, ICC, SIAC, AIAC and PAM. His experience further extends to CIPAA adjudication and arbitration-related court proceedings, including applications for urgent and interim relief, as well as the recognition, enforcement and setting aside of adjudication decisions and arbitral awards.

In addition to contentious work, Royce also acts as retained counsel to numerous companies and corporations, providing live and ongoing legal advice on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, licensing, tax and operational matters.
